Event Description

We'll climb Cranberry Peak, 6.4 miles round trip, about 2,000 ft elevation gain. There are incredible 360 degree views from the top of Flagstaff Lake, Carrabassett Valley and Sugarloaf. It's not a long trail, but it's steep and rugged, and the pace will be relaxed. Bring hiking boots, bug spray, lunch and water.

Make a weekend of it by coming up Saturday for the Kingfield Pops - an outdoor concert with views of Mt. Abraham. There's a great lineup of bands, and fireworks at the end. Camping is available in the area.

RSVP to leader so we'll know how many to expect.
